Are you looking for an entrepreneurial organization where you can make a significant impact? We are in search of a professional Buyer for our Baldwin Park, CA manufacturing facility.

We are a medium-sized team in need of an experienced Buyer.  We are financially stable, and a division of a large global manufacturer traded on the S&P 500.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Responsible for purchasing & negotiating material, supplies & equipment from approved vendors.
  2. Evaluates vendor quotes & services to determine most desirable suppliers.
  3. Follow up with vendors and suppliers with weekly open order reports.
  4. Generate purchase orders and adjust delivery dates in accordance with MRP.
  5. Travel to local suppliers to conduct supplier visits as required.
  6. Special projects and other duties as assigned.

 

Our Team

Our Company is located in Baldwin Park, OK.  You will be the front line of our effort to provide accurate inventory. You will report to and gain direction from the Supply Chain Director.

We Need Your Experience to Include

  1. Associates Degree required.  Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  2. 2+ years purchasing or supply chain experience required.  Manufacturing environment preferred.
  3. General understanding of MRP systems.
  4. Intermediate to advanced Microsoft office skills.

Compensation

Salary Minimum:  $40,000
Salary Maximum:  $70,000
