Are you looking for an opportunity with an entrepreneurial organization where you can make a significant impact?  We are in search of an operations assembler for our Baldwin Park, CA manufacturing facility.  

 

Do you have experience in assembling raw material to relatively small or light subassemblies and complete units?   Can you thrive in a safe and clean working environment with the ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly?  Then we are looking for you!  We are a medium-sized team in need of an experienced Operations Assembler.  We are financially stable, and a division of a large global manufacturer traded in the S&P500.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Works from product specifications and instructions to properly assemble product.
  2. Uses hand tools and small power tools properly. 
  3. Uses equipment, machinery and materials properly. 
  4. Maintains a safe and clean working environment. 
  5. Tests, Calibrates, and fits parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances and product specifications. 
  6. Other duties as assigned.

 

Our Team:

Our team is located in Baldwin Park, CA. You will be on the front line of our effort to provide assembler expertise. You will report to and get directions from the Manufacturing Manager. 

 

We need your experience to include:

1-3 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience. 

 

You should know how to:

1. Read and interpret documents such as blueprints, Parts Manuals, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. 

2. Be willing to perform repetitive tasks while sitting or standing for extended periods of time.

3. Can perform work accurately and thoroughly, multitask and meet deadlines. 

4. Be ambitious and flexible, wanting to learn and grow professionally. 

5. Read, Write, and speak English fluently. 

 

 Other items to note:

  • Work will be conducted mostly indoors in a “shop” type environment.
  • Exposure to heat or cold will mostly be limited to when walking from one building to another or if bay doors have been opened to allow for shipping and receiving activities. The use of PPE such as safety glasses and safety-toed shoes are required in designated working areas.
  • Due to contracts with the United States Government, the candidate must be either a US Citizen or Green card holder
  • Relocation is not available for this position.
