Job Title:  Machinist I - 2nd Shift

Job Description:

• Perform standard work tasks with guidance on more complex assignments.
• Operate and inspect output from value stream workstations to ensure quality.
• Use and maintain tools and equipment necessary to execute standard work efficiently.
• Test and calibrate simple assemblies according to detailed specifications.
• Complete standard work with a high level of quality and limited discrepancies, while continuously improving.
• Work efficiently on simple tasks, and seek assistance for complex tasks as needed.
• Identify challenges during work execution and actively seek help to resolve them.

Requirements:

• Specific vision abilities required include close vision, color vision, and depth perception.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, or climb for extended periods.
• 1-2 years of experience with manual lathe operations is preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency in reading and writing in English.
• Basic computer skills using Microsoft Windows.
• Basic math skills and ability to use measurement tools (ruler, scale, calipers, tape measure).

Salary Range:

The hourly pay range for this position generally ranges between $17.00 - $19.00  Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance.
