Job Title: Shipping and Receiving Coordinator

Sunpower, based in Athens, OH, is looking for a shipping and receiving coordinator. Under the direction of the procurement supervisor, this position will support daily activities by performing all inbound and outbound shipping and receiving duties, packaging/labeling products, and aiding in general material handling.
CORE DUTIES:
Shipping and Receiving Verification & Processing (60% of the time):

Use Oracle ERP and other electronic systems to processing sales orders and daily shipping receipts, maintain shipping log, prepare packslips, and provide invoicing information to accounting.

Verify accuracy of inbound and outbound shipments.

Assist with SOX audits monthly.

Distribute daily receipts to internal customers.
General Materials Handling (40% of the time):

Package and prepare items for shipping.

Schedule and prepare shipments, both foreign and domestic.

Load and unload freight onto/from trucks.

Organize and store inbound freight and packaging supplies.
REQUIRED EDUCATION:
Minimum of a high school diploma or general education degree (GED) equivalent.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE/CERTIFICATION:

Demonstrated data entry accuracy and proficiency in Microsoft Office, with the ability to be trained in multiple applications.

Demonstrated ability to independently adhere to established procedures in an organized fashion.

Ability to communicate effectively both orally and through written correspondence.

Ability to complete simple mathematical equations involving addition, subtraction, and multiplying and dividing (including fractions).
PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
Demonstrated success using database systems (or ERPs), typically gained through a two-year degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or work experience.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Must be able to routinely operate forklift and pallet jack (on the job training provided).

Ability to lift up to 75 pounds without assistance.

Ability to bend, reach, push, pull, and stand for extended periods.
