Job Description: 

As a Faro Creaform FAE, you will interface with engineers and technicians who use Faro Creaform products in many different applications and industries. You will gain exposure to customers through a variety of interactions such as conducting sales demonstrations in collaboration with our sales team, providing customer training, technical support and realizing service mandates. You will also be deeply involved into the sales process with the local account manager by supporting the technical qualification of business opportunities, analysing and testing customers application to build and present a technical proposal to customers. 

Tasks and responsibilities: 

  • Provide applicative training on Faro Creaform and partner technologies to our customer base; 
  • Perform Benchmarking projects at customer’s site or in Faro Creaform’s facilities; 
  • Act as the usage and knowledge reference of the Faro Creaform product lines and support internal customers (marketing, R&D, Faro Creaform Campus) in their operations. 
  • Provide technical support to local customers over Faro Creaform hardware, software, and applicative question. 
  • Provide feedback on market, new potential applications, Faro Creaform products and competitive landscape to sales managers, product managers and technical experts so improvements on our products reflect our client’s needs. 
  • Contribute to the technical knowledge development of the sales channel (SDR, AM, RM and distributors) 
  • In collaboration with the local Sales team: 
  • Elaborate the local business development strategy; 
  • Ensure deployment of Faro Creaform solutions through technical, commercial and marketing actions (demos, benchmarks, exhibitions, etc.); 
  • Contribute at your level to new sales leads and business opportunities generation; 
  • When needed, take the technical leadership on business opportunities from the pre to post sales process; 
  • Actively contribute to the evaluation of customer requirements; from the technical qualification of the project and initial tests to the technical proposal submission; 
  • Prepare and perform demonstration and technical benchmarks.  For advanced application as such gage R&R, high accuracy application or AQC project, work closely with technical managers and experts to validate technical proposal; 
  • In coordination with the sales team, present the final technical proposal to customers and contribute to the closing; 

Requirements: 

  • Diploma or Bachelor degree in engineering from accredited university, or above 
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a relevant field 
  • Technical experience of metrology and portable CMM is a plus 
  • Experience using Softwares like Creaform Inspection, CAM2, PolyWorks, Solidworks, Geomagic. 
  • Fluency of verbal & written English is preferred, 
  • Location is Delhi & 50% travel required within India or outside of India.
